A little about me

First of all I would like to say thank you for checking out my blog! I have yet to decide in what direction this blog is going to go! Most likely it will end up being a mish mash of different topics... Kinda like my life 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

So a little about me! Well I live in the smallish town of Port Hope you might recognize most of our down town from Stephen King's movie IT & IT the sequel!
I moved to Port Hope with my family after highschool! I was lucky enough to make some great friends who ended up introducing me to my husband❤️ we started dating shortly after dating at the age of 18 & never looked back! 😍 We got married in 2015 and gave birth to a baby girl in February of 2019!

I went to school for Fashion Design but after graduating quickly realized that I did not want to live in the big city and work the crazy hours that come along with the Fashion Designer's life! I have always wanted a family! 😊 We spent a few years living in Mississauga where my husband got a job in his field of work while I worked in retail😬😂 In 2014 we moved back to his home town of Port Hope, where we bought his grandparents home.

Shortly after moving back to Port Hope I got a waitressing job at a very popular local restaurant while also pursuing starting my own sewing business creating quilts and other (mostly) baby related items, teaching the odd sewing lesson and taking alteration jobs! However I am coming to realize that as much as I love sewing and creating unique things its never going to be the huge money maker I one time hoped it would be as it is hard to stay price competitive while also paying myself a fair wage for my work, but that's ok as I have found something that is not only making me money to help support my family but also something I love doing! I am going to leave this post here as I will be dedicating a whole post to my new business venture and why I chose this company over all the other options available!
